Sign up sheets are now up for the First Year Moot on the Law School Foyer pin up boards. The First Year Moot is open to all students still studying first year subjects (Law of Crime, Principles of Public Law, Foundations of Law, Law of
Torts, Contracts and Property Law).

Mooting is a great way to meet new people, improve your public speaking skills and develop analytical problem-solving techniques. The competition will use problems based on torts and contract which will require presentation in front of judge. The competitions will be on Tuesday nights and the grand final is usually judged by judges from the Supreme, District or Federal courts.

The sign up sheets will be up until next Wednesday 5 August.

Contact Kate Edwards with any queries: kate.m.edwards@student.adelaide.edu.au

More information about the competition is at http://aulss.org.au/comps/first-year-moot/
