First Year Lecture on Exam Notes Slides

Recently Daniel Kiley and Chris Shute presented a lecture for first year students on effective study techniques for law school, and in particular how exam notes should come together.  Attached are the slides from the lecture.

(Note that this lecture was given twice, on the Wednesday and Thursday of Week 2.  These slides are from the Thursday lecture.)

Another Admin Exam Added to Answer Bank

We have just added another answer to the Answer Bank for the 2008 Administrative Law exam.  This answer is from different student to the answer we uploaded a few days ago, and received 85 for both questions.  It is listed as “Exam 2008 (Student 2)”.

Administrative Law Answer Added To Answer Bank

A HD answer to Part 1 of the 2008 Admin Law Exam has just been uploaded to the LSS Answer Bank.  You can find it at http://aulss.org.au/education/answer-bank/ .  As a hint, the key to the first question was to argue the merits – not argue legal grounds of review, and not just say that it had merits review power, but actually argue the merits.

We hope to have it have Part 2 online soon.

We’ve just added a HD paper from this semester’s Law of Evidence Mid-Semester Assignment to the aulss.org.au Answer Bank.  The usual disclaimers apply – this is not necessarily the best answer possible, but it was awarded a HD.
