Dear Students,

I hope you have been enjoying your break so far!

1. Our website is currently being updated (http://aulss.org.au/). A part of this process is updating our Answer bank! Please email through any HD answers you have from previous Exams to education@aulss.org.au. If you could include the question with your answer from any take home problem exams that would be much appreciated.

2. You can find a link to our new Facebook page on our website. We will work hard to keep you updated through Facebook, our website and also my emails. The old Facebook group will cease to exist shortly. The group format did not allow easy access to students like the new page does.

3. The ALSA newsletter for January can be found at: http://eepurl.com/ic8h2. ALSA provides an excellent resource to Law Students across Australia. I’m sure you’ll find lots of interesting information in their newsletters and on their website. The ALSA July conference will be held in Melbourne this year. We encourage you to find their page on Facebook which provides regular, exciting updates on the conference.

We hope you have had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding any questions or suggestions you may have.

GDLP Information Session

Are you in final or penultimate year and have no idea what a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice is, or what you need to do to get one? Or, have you already considered your options and aren’t sure?

The AULSS Careers Team is holding a GDLP Information Session on Wednesday 7^th September (Week 7) at 5pm in Law Lecture Theatre 1 in the Ligertwood Building.

We will provide you with all the information you need to make a decision about how to qualify for a practising certificate so that you can become real-life lawyers! Representatives from three prominent GDLP providers (Law Society of South Australia, ANU Legal Workshop and The College of Law) will be speaking about their programs and answering any questions you may have.
